These vehicles are backed by our extensive three-stage eConsulting process, supporting customers with everything they need for their decarbonisation journey. Starting with route and depot analysis, our team help operators look options for electrification, including opportunity charging, before moving on to vehicle specification and financing options, through to handover and integration into operations.
 
With a clearly-defined two-stage decarbonisation strategy, Daimler Truck is excited to bring more zero-emission trucks to market, starting with the eActros and eActros LongHaul as 40-tonne battery-electric tractor units. These will be capable of travelling up to 500km on a single charge.
 
For less predictable operations, or longer-distance transport, the hydrogen fuel-cell Mercedes-Benz GenH2 truck will enter service in 2027, with a range of 1000km when powered by super-cooled liquid hydrogen. Trials are already underway to ensure this truck can cope with the harshest of conditions, with a targeted lifespan of 1.2 million kilometres.
